Don't forget, you can learn more in a day with a good fly fishing guide than you can in five years on your own.

Check flows before you go, snow melt and California (and Nevada) water management games will impact your favorite stream this year. Consider lakes as an alternative to high (and low) flows.  Check Favorite Links for Current conditions in California.

With the current prohibition on stocking various California lakes and streams we can expect increased competition on catch and release waters.  Be alert and report poaching activity!
